Bitmap Graphics
Lesson open scratch go back and forth showing the following:
Bitmap graphics are made of small squares called pixels. They can become blurry if enlarged to much. You can edit each pixel, erase easily, and fill in any area. You can even convert any sprite into a bitmap. Backgrounds are always bitmap.
I will show you how you will be completing the next three exercises then you will do them. Hitting share when you have completed the exercise.
1. Modify a bitmap Sprite from the library to represent a character in your book. For this exercise I will choose Alice.
2. Convert a vector sprite to a bitmap sprite and make some fun changes.
3. Maybe you don’t have anything that is close to your character and you need to draw your own Bitmap to represent your story? Design your own story book character
